Common Problems of Floor Sweepers

Q1: What should I do if the side brushes aren't rotating?

Cause: Main brush and side brush fuses are blown, switch is damaged, or motor is burned out.

Troubleshooting: Check the fuse box for burnt-out dust on the main and side brush fuses. Visually inspect the main and side brush circuits for burnout or breakage. Use a multimeter to check for continuity in the main and side brush circuits. Check for poor contact in the main and side brush motor plugs (unplug the main and side brush motor plugs and visually inspect for water, dust, or deformed terminals). First, check for burnt side brush fuses and side brush motors.

Solution: Replace the main and side brush fuses.

Q2: Can’t sweep clean/dust leaks?

Cause: The main and side brushes are adjusted too high.

Troubleshooting: Open the machine's main brush side guard and use a tape measure to measure the height of the main brush pulley nut from the ground. Adjust the main brush to a clearance of 14.5-12cm (if it's below 12cm, the main brush needs to be replaced). (In poor terrain, the height should be slightly higher.) (When passing over a speed bump, turn off the sweeper and raise the main and side brushes.)

Solution: Adjust the height of the main and side brushes and replace the main brush. (This is routine maintenance and requires the customer's guidance. We can provide video guidance.)

Q3: Is there a lot of dust when sweeping?

Cause: Damaged dust collector motor, dust collector filter, or burnt dust collector fuse.

Troubleshooting: Locate the dust collector relay in the fuse box and visually inspect it for signs of burns. The relay housing is removable.

Solution: Replace the dust collector motor, filter, and fuse.

Q4: No water spraying?

Cause: Sprinkler switch turned off, no water added, clogged, or damaged pump.

Troubleshooting: Check the switch, water tank, and sprinkler heads for blockage.

Solution: Turn on the switch, add water to the water tank, and clean or replace the sprinkler heads.
